Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 July 2026
This Privacy Policy applies to astralpavilion.com and to any enquiry, booking, or communication you make with Astral Pavilion by website form, WhatsApp, Messenger, email, or a Facebook/Meta Lead Ad. It explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices and rights available to you.
1. Introduction
Astral Pavilion ("we", "us", "our") is a Singapore-based Chinese metaphysics consultancy offering BaZi analysis, Qi Men Dun Jia strategy consultations, Feng Shui assessments, and related relationship, wealth, and personal-luck guidance services, accessible at astralpavilion.com.
We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data responsibly, in accordance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 ("PDPA"), and in a manner consistent with the requirements of the platforms we use to reach and communicate with clients, including Meta (Facebook & Instagram) Lead Ads and Google Ads. By using this website or submitting your details to us through any channel described below, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect the following categories of information:
- Name — so we can address you personally and identify your enquiry or booking.
- Email address — to send confirmations, respond to enquiries, and share requested information.
- Phone number — to contact you regarding your enquiry, including via call or WhatsApp.
- Consultation enquiries — details you provide about the service you're interested in (e.g. BaZi, Qi Men Dun Jia, Feng Shui, relationship or wealth consultation), and any context you share to help us prepare for your session.
- Website usage information — pages visited, referring source, approximate location, device and browser type, and general on-site behaviour, collected automatically via analytics tools described in Section 4.
We only collect what is reasonably necessary to respond to you and provide our services. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and our services are intended for adults.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the personal data described above to:
- Respond to enquiries — to answer your questions and follow up on messages sent via our website, WhatsApp, or Facebook/Meta Lead Ads.
- Consultation scheduling — to arrange, confirm, and manage your BaZi, Qi Men Dun Jia, or Feng Shui consultation appointments.
- Customer support — to assist you before, during, and after your consultation, and to handle any questions or concerns.
- Service improvement — to understand how visitors use our website and services, so we can improve content, navigation, and the overall client experience.
- Marketing communications (with consent) — where you have given us your consent (for example, by opting in via a form or Lead Ad), we may occasionally send updates, promotions, or relevant content. You can withdraw this consent at any time — see Section 9.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties, and we do not use sensitive consultation details (such as birth data or personal circumstances shared during a session) for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.
4. Cookies & Analytics
Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager,
container ID GTM-KBKPN49K, and Google Analytics Measurement ID
G-V6ZCE3G9D4) to understand how visitors interact with our site —
including pages viewed, time on site, device type, and approximate location. This
helps us improve our content and user experience. Google may process this data in
accordance with its own privacy policy.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to support core website functionality (such as language preference and navigation) and to enable analytics as described above. Cookies are small text files stored on your device. You can control or disable cookies at any time through your browser settings; please note that disabling cookies may affect certain website features.
5. Facebook & Meta Lead Ads
From time to time, we may run advertising campaigns on Facebook and Instagram using Meta's Lead Ads feature. If you submit your details through a Facebook or Instagram Lead Ad form, the information you provide (such as your name, email address, and phone number) is shared with us by Meta and may be used to contact you regarding your enquiry — for example, to follow up on your interest in a consultation, answer your questions, or schedule an appointment.
Information submitted via Meta Lead Ads is handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy once received by us, and is also subject to Meta's own Privacy Policy, which governs how Meta collects and processes information through its platforms and advertising tools.
6. WhatsApp & Messenger Communication
We offer WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger as convenient ways to reach us. When you message us through either channel, we receive your name (or profile name), phone number or account identifier, and the content of your messages, which we use to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, arrange your consultation.
These conversations are also subject to the respective privacy policies of WhatsApp and Meta (Messenger), in addition to this Privacy Policy for how we handle any information you share with us directly.
7. Data Protection
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or loss. Access to client information is limited to those who need it to provide our services.
No method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure. While we work to protect your data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
8. Third-Party Services
We work with a small number of trusted third-party services to operate our website and communicate with clients, including:
- Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager — for website analytics (see Section 4).
- Google Ads — for advertising and measuring the effectiveness of our campaigns.
- Meta (Facebook & Instagram) — for advertising, Lead Ads, and Messenger communication (see Section 5).
- WhatsApp — for direct client communication (see Section 6).
- Our website hosting provider — to securely store and serve our website and any enquiry data submitted through it.
As our advertising activities evolve, we may in future adopt additional advertising or conversion-tracking technologies (for example, Meta Pixel or Google Ads Conversion Tracking). If we do, this Privacy Policy will be updated to reflect the specific tools in use at that time.
Each of these providers processes data under their own privacy policies, in addition to the practices described here. We only share the minimum information necessary for these services to function, and we do not permit these providers to use your personal data for purposes unrelated to our engagement with them.
9. User Rights
Under Singapore's PDPA, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct any inaccurate or outdated personal data.
- Withdraw consent for the collection, use, or disclosure of your personal data, including marketing communications, at any time.
- Request deletion of your personal data, subject to our legal or record-keeping obligations.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details in Section 12. We will respond to your request within a reasonable timeframe.
10. Data Retention
We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Privacy Policy — including responding to your enquiry, delivering your consultation, maintaining business records, and meeting any legal or regulatory requirements. Where data is no longer needed for these purposes, we take reasonable steps to securely delete or anonymise it.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, services, or legal requirements. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
12. International Visitors
If you are accessing this website from outside Singapore, please note that your information may be processed and stored in Singapore in accordance with applicable Singapore law, including the PDPA. By using this website or submitting your details to us, you consent to this processing.
